My baby is 4 weeks old!

Ashton is still somewhat jaundice, so we had some blood work done just to make sure it was due to nursing. Our Dr. believes nursed babies take somewhat longer for the biliruben count to lower. Since we have been going to the Dr. once a week I have been able to watch his weight increase. This little boy gained 1 pound in a weeks time. Yesterday he weighed 9lbs. 13 oz, and 4 weeks ago when we brought him home he weighed 6lbs. 8 oz. GO ASHTON!!

20 Days Old!

I cannot believe it has been almost a month it feels like yesterday. I took these pictures today as he looked so peaceful sleeping. I forgot about the days when they just sleep and eat! Its nice because I can give Ava my full attention! I think she is just ready for him to talk back at her when she says "hi".

This weekend Grandma, Aunt Becky and Cousin Caitlyn were down to visit and see baby Ashton. We all had a great time visiting and the kids loved having eachother to play with.

My PRINCE CHARMING!

He is growing everyday...it just amazes me how much they change in a week! He is doing wonderful at a Dr.s visit yesterday he weighed 7lbs 8oz., so he is definitely has the eating down. We are still working on getting him a sleeping pattern. Tomorrow will be my first day alone with both kiddos. Wish me luck!!

Again, thanks to all of our family for taking care of us...their hard work keeping up with my house duties and dinners.

My Sweet Ava!

Ava is doing really well with her new brother. She likes to be right there in his face, either to kiss, hug or try to hold him. It really seems like the last couple of weeks she has just blossomed. We have had lots of company from my mother in law, my mom and step mom...she definitely has been loved. We have appreciated all the help and can not thank them enough! Here are a few highlights of my sweet Ava this past week!

Welcome Ashton Thomas McGrew!

July 31st at 1:00pm we welcomed a new addition to our family. He weighed 7lbs and 19in long. He is a blessing healthy and perfect in every way.
