Happy Fathers Day!

So blessed to have the Best Father for my children...Happy Father's Day.

WE LOVE YOU!

This year on Fathers Day we arrived in Ft Walton Beach Florida...on a not so good note. My sweet baby boy was sick the whole drive, fortunately we always have a hotel to stay in at the half way point (La Fayette, LA). However, Ashton was still not much better after a bath and dinner. He was not able to keep ANYTHING down. On Sunday we continued our drive the rest of the way, and made it around 5pm to Florida. Still Ashton is not doing any better...he was worse. At this point..it was time to load up and head to FT Walton Medical Center ER. We were treated wonderful...they took great care of us. Considering Ashton was severely dehydrated and his acid levels were off from throwing up, we had to stay overnight in the Pediatric Unit. With IVof fluids, lots of blood work, xrays and zofran...my baby was finally better and we were able to go to our CondoMonday afternoon AND we had a blast on the rest of our VACATION! I am so proud at how brave, good and strong he was!!

Swimming Lessons!

Ava has taken swimming lessons since she was 2o months old. She is a true fish...LOVES the water and is an excellent swimmer. Last year we decided to put her in Private lessons and did the same this year with the same instructor (Elizabeth). As with all BIG water slides there are height restrictions and Ava of course is not quite there...however she did a swim test all by her self for the Head life guard and PAST!! So NOW she is able to go on all the "BIG people" slides. We are so proud of her and hopefully this time next year she will be on a swim team. GO--AVA--GO

We had a great time spending the weekend in San Antonio at the Hyatt on the Riverwalk...a perfect place to stay. We spent the whole day at SeaWorld on Saturday and drove home on Sunday..and of course we could not pass up the outlets in San Marcos!

Memorial Day Weekend 2011

For Memorial Day my Best friend Jen and her family joined us for a weekend of family FUN...lots of girl talk, good food, sun tans, and water !Hope you all had a great Memorial Day!

Ava's FIRST Recital

Finally Recital day came. Ava has put in lots of hard work and dedication ...since this was her first year she did not understand the whole concept of learning a dance to preform for your family at recital time...she absolutely loved it!! After her experience on stage with makeup and a costume...she is ready to sign up again in the fall. I also might add that where she dances they have a very structured program and a fabulous teacher!

Time to CELEBRATE!!

Daddy is Awesome!

Daddy surprised them a couple of weekends ago with a new toy...they LOVE it and spend hours playing outside! I see lots of sunscreen in our future :)
