Ava had such a good time trick-or-treating, but I think she had even more fun handing out her candy!! We live in a great neighborhood with lots of families out for the evening. We enjoyed seeing all the kids dressed up... this was all new to Ava. Oh and Ashton wasn't quite sure what was going on...he slept in the bjorn while trick-or-treating and then was still half asleep when we got back home. fun- fun!!
So we had lots more visitors this weekend... Grandma, Uncle Richard, Lauren and cousin JT (4 yrs old). We had super FUN at the fall festival in downtown Bryan. The kids enjoyed the bouncy slides, games, crafts, decorated pumpkins and haunted house You can click on the collage to make it bigger.
OK so Ava is almost 2 and she has become a horrible napper all of a sudden. She can be so tired and sleepy and still will fight to stay awake. Today was another struggle. Finally, I laid her in her bed fussing and all and closed the door. After about 2 minutes there was complete silence and this is what I saw.... She was out and will be out usually for 2 -3 hours. So I know she is tired!!! I have tried reading to her, TV, music, singing and she will not give up to go to sleep. I know it's a little late to start complaining now, but if anyone has suggestions I would try anything at this point.

A busy weekend... Grandma, Aunt Becky and Cousin Caitlyn were here!! We love to have visitors :) These are some sweet pictures that were taken. We had a good time as always.
Ava's favorite were the monkeys, giraffes and zebras! Mommy has Ashton and is the picture taker :)

Ashton is starting to smile when your talking to him--it is the sweetest. We captured the moment!! My mom had asked me after I posted this "was this the only shirt he wears" hehehe actually not! The pictures of him in this shirt were all taken the same day with my mother in law's camera so I am getting them from her thru email. This one came last night and I just thought it was too cute not to post :)
Today we had Gymnastics like we do every Tuesday, but today was a circus theme! She was not so happy I think because it was time to leave. She LOVES it and is the youngest I believe in her class.
What amazes me most is that this little girl is so small yet soooo BIG. She does not need mommy for many things.( I am crying as I write this). She has the most outgoing personality and doesn't meet a stranger, she is not afraid to try anything once, and at gymnastics she is strong and brave even with her clown face :). I just LOVE her soooo MUCH!!!
